Lenore Ervin, CID, ASID, Assoc. AIA
Lenore Ervin is a Senior Associate focusing on Interior Architecture Design and Project Management at Spectrum Design. Lenore graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia in 1992 and performed further study towards her Masters of Architecture from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where she received a full academic scholarship. She is a Certified Interior Designer in the Commonwealth of Virginia and possesses certification from NCIDQ (National Council of Interior Design Qualifications). Her work at Spectrum centers on the construction and design of the interior environment and the user and public experience within it. Specifically, her background encompasses historic preservation and adaptive reuse, primary, secondary and higher education, corporate environments, municipal facilities and museums. Lenore's passions include the design and construction of teaching elements and murals within these buildings to create a space beyond "bricks and mortar" to one that is both memorable and sustainable. Lenore's professional affiliations include the American Institute of Architects (Assoc. AIA) and American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). She is also involved with both Virginia Tech's and Radford University's Interior Design programs as a guest speaker and design critic.
