MECHANICAL PROJECT ENGINEER
Mechanical Project Engineer needed for our downtown Roanoke, VA office. Position will be responsible for the design of HVAC systems for our various project types, including educational, civic, arts and commercial buildings. Strong communication skills, the ability to work in a team environment, and willingness to mentor staff are required. Must be a licensed Mechanical Engineer in the Commonwealth of Virginia, 7-10 years of professional experience preferred.
Must be proficient in design load calculation and energy modeling programs (Trace, ComCheck), Word and Excel. Proficiency in REVIT preferred.

Spectrum Design is currently seeking a full-time Mechanical Designer for our downtown Roanoke, Virginia office. 2 years of work experience with FE/EIT preferred but not required. Candidate should have experience with Revit and design of HVAC systems. Past experience with preparation of construction documents, performing site visits to verify field conditions and interdisciplinary coordination required.
