Renovate an existing Science Museum to provide a 21st century experience for visitors of all ages.
Science Museum of Western Virginia
The museum was reorganized and reimagined to transform the way that visitors, and especially children, engage with the sciences. Conceived as a multi-level experience, learning opportunities begin with saltwater aquariums in the lobby and culminate with a new butterfly habitat with an insect-inspired skylight bringing plants and insects to life. Rooftop exhibits showcase the latest in sustainable technologies and urban plant habitats.
